The site is located within the developed area and town centre of Godalming. The development included the conversion of an unused retail space on the first floor into residential use with the ground floor renovated and retained for use as a retail unit. The design retained the origins of the original commercial building and added a valuable accommodation within the town centre. The first floor windows were carefully designed in order to deal with over looking concerns.
The proposals also included a new terrace of three residential dwellings. The dwellings provide two ensuite double bedrooms on the first floor with generous open-plan living accommodation on the ground floor.
