Oakley Manor House is a Grade II listed building and lies within the Church Oakley Conservation Area. The building had undergone considerable alterations over the years and was an amalgamation of additions and alterations that had been carried out by its various owners. This resulted in a somewhat disjointed mix of different elements that had developed over the course of time. The building was in urgent need of basic repair works including upgrading the heating and electrical installations and re-decorating as well as replacing the entire roof. Alterations were carried out internally to provide a large kitchen/family room, en-suite bathrooms to the first floor bedrooms, removal of partitions and staircases, conversion of the existing loft space and general improvements to the layout and circulation areas. The stable building was converted into a gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
