The farmhouse is a Grade II listed and was built in the C16. The building is timber framed, clad in brickwork with tile hanging to the first floor and a tiled half-hipped roof. Our brief was to extend the property to create a new garden room after the removal of a unsightly lean to and small boiler house. The new roof form was designed so as to link with the existing roof scape and an oak framed extension which enhances the dwelling and its setting.
